Patriot Bank, in existence since 1905, wanted to project an updated image for its
Boyertown office. "We were looking for a neat, clean system with an inviting,
up-scale appearance, and we found that in System Four by Flex-Y-Plan," says Ron
Donovan, Vice President.
As most companies do when considering a purchase, Patriot evaluated options. Other
systems were evaluated on quality, appearance, and price; and the choice was Flex-Y-Plan.
The Boyertown office was Patriots' first systems furniture application. "It was
important to us that the furniture feel substantial," says Donovan. The metal panel
frames and steel reinforced work surfaces the quality assurances they needed.
Flex-Y-Plan's warranty an untarnished reputation made the choice a confident one.
The clean lines and classic styling of System Four appealed to the officials at Patriot
Bank. Since the offices are located in a high-traffic area, they not only needed to be
functional and comfortable for the employees, they had to be organized and attractive for
the customers. Tracy McKay of Artemis Design, the design firm employed to assist with the
project, suggested utilizing Flex-Y-Plan's broad color spectrum to coordinate fabrics and
laminates with other architectural finishes and features. A unique angle to the conference
tables was also suggested to complement the architectural lines of the building.
"We
have received rave reviews on the appearance of our Boyertown office," comments
Donovan. "Our image has been uplifted."
Often, when price is a deciding factor, quality and choices can be sacrificed. This was
not true with Flex-Y-Plan. "Flex-Y-Plan offered the best value for the style and
grade of product offered," states Tracy McKay.
Artemis Design and Officenter, the local Flex-Y-Plan dealer, worked closely with
Patriot Bank throughout the renovation. "Flex-Y-Plan representatives presented a
genuine feeling of wanting to please and were openly proud of their System Four
Product," says Donovan. Product lead time and installation went according to plan.
A part of this willingness to please is Flex-Y-Plan's capabilities to
accommodate
special manufacturing requests. Instead of Patriot Bank sourcing a separate supplier for a
check-writing counter area, Flex-Y-Plan was able to integrate this area into the systems
furniture, saving valuable space and time while maintaining a consistent design statement.
